After graduating in geography from Warsaw University in Poland, Ivona spent a few years organizing tourist expeditions of specialized character such as cycling through the Alps and Pyrenees, as well as diving and climbing trips to many exotic places around the world working for the largest  National Polish Tourist Organization. She joined many of these tours as an expedition leader. 

In 1991 she came to the United States where she continued her studies at New York University . She spent several years working for high profile travel agencies in New York, handling very demanding corporate accounts within the fashion, publishing, and banking industries, before she opened her own agency.  Throughout this time, she traveled intensively, visited every nation in Europe, and a large part of the Americas, Asia, Australia and Africa. So far she has visited 90 countries, and it’s not the end!

When Ivona is not at her Central Park Travel office, she is in nearby Central Park biking, reading books about other places to visit, or she is out exploring the classical music of NYC.
